What Lessen can and cannot do
Lessen reads the sportsbook accounts you choose, shows your history and offers support before likely betting windows. It cannot place bets, move money, block a betting site, see unconnected accounts, guarantee accurate predictions, or guarantee a behavior change. A missing alert or an empty number does not prove someone is safe or not betting.
Lessen is not therapy, a medical practice or emergency monitoring. Les is AI, not a clinician. A screening score is not a diagnosis. In an immediate emergency call 911. What your data does
Your connected betting records support your own summaries and patterns. Setup answers support your preferences and relevant support. Your Les question and selected context go to the AI provider to generate a reply. Lessen's application database does not store a chat transcript; optional chat history is stored on your device. Providers may keep limited operational records under their own retention rules.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers or use your health information to target advertisements. External research sharing is not currently enabled. Research and patient sharing need separate choices. A research preference is not a signed authorization to sell health data.
Sharing stays your choice
You choose the recipient and sections. A clinic membership or payment does not unlock a patient's information. Revocation ends later access through Lessen. Someone may already have seen or copied information; practical limits on retrieving a copy do not remove their legal duties. Check your sharing settings and use only recipients you trust.
Generic lock-screen notifications are the default. Detailed notifications may expose information to someone looking at your phone. Sign-in links and sharing codes are private. Sign out on shared computers.
Security and control
We use encrypted connections, hosted encryption at rest, authenticated access and server-side permissions. Payment processors handle full card credentials. Sportsbook credentials are entered in the connection provider's flow, not received by Lessen. No system is perfectly secure. We do not claim a security certification, regulatory approval or HIPAA compliance merely because these controls exist.
You can export your account data, change optional permissions and request account deletion. Some limited payment, security and legal records may remain for defined reasons. Provider deletion and backup expiration can take additional time; an outstanding provider request is not described as completed erasure. For support, accessibility help, privacy concerns or a suspected security problem, email admin@lessen.app. Include a brief description without patient information, passwords, sign-in links or full card details. See Security Reporting for responsible testing. Support email is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency channel.
