They decide
If they want it, they get Lessen and choose “Redeem a gift on lessen.app.” If not, the code waits. Codes never expire.
You won’t be told whether or when the code is used, and you never see their information. If they ever want to share how they’re doing, they can choose to from the app.
Answers to your questions
No. It is paid in full and stops when it ends. When it ends, Lessen asks them whether they want their own plan, and they can say no.
No. You won’t see their bets, their progress, or whether they used the code. They can choose to share with you from the app, the same way anyone can, and they can stop sharing at any time.
They cancel their own plan in their App Store or Google Play settings first, then use the gift. It starts when the time they already paid for runs out, so nobody pays twice. A second gift starts when the first one ends.
The code waits. Codes never expire.
Changed your mind? Within 48 hours of buying, email admin@lessen.app with the code for a full refund. After that, gifts are final, except for a charge made in error or where the law requires a refund. We answer the same way whether or not the code was used, so a refund never tells you anything about them.
