Effective September 8, 2026 · Version 2026-09-08.2
These terms supplement the Terms of Service for the web portal at lessen.app/clinic. The provider is Udom Software LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, doing business as Lessen, 732 South 6th Street, Suite N, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Email: admin@lessen.app.
1. Purpose and roles
The portal organizes patient-directed, read-only shared pages for authorized recipients. It is not an electronic health record, emergency monitoring service, license-verification service or source of clinical advice. A patient remains in control of whether and what to share. A subscription does not create a right to information that has not been shared with you.
You must accurately identify yourself and your practice, be at least 21, use your own verified email and have authority for the actions you take. If you represent an organization, you accept these terms for it only with appropriate authority. Lessen's review administrator is separate from clinic membership and does not receive patient access merely through an administrator role.
2. Access approval
A practice can receive starter access after confirming its sign-in address and authority and passing duplicate and abuse checks. NPI and website are optional for starter access. Expanded access may be approved automatically through a confirmed work email matching a dedicated practice website, a domain-control check, or a manual exception review. These checks establish account control and identify duplicate businesses. They do not establish professional licensure, clinical quality, accreditation, insurance coverage or endorsement by Lessen.
Do not claim an organization you do not represent, use an unrelated business domain, or submit another person's identifiers. Provide corrections when requested. Lessen may withhold or review expanded access where details conflict or authority is uncertain. You may contact admin@lessen.app to resolve an error without purchasing a plan. We do not represent a correction request as a clinical or licensing judgment.
3. One practice and a shared allowance
Pilot access (added October 10, 2026). Lessen is currently running a pilot in which verified practices may use the portal at no charge, for more clients than the Free plan allows. Pilot access is not a paid plan and does not start a subscription. Lessen may change or end a pilot and will give notice in the portal or by email first. Nothing is charged automatically when a pilot ends; the practice returns to the plans below unless its owner chooses otherwise. A pilot changes how many clients a practice may open. It never changes what a client has chosen to share. While a pilot is active, paid plans may not be offered.
Outside a pilot, current web plans are Free: $0 for five distinct clients; Practice: $39 per month for 15; Clinic: $99 per month for 40. Staff logins share the practice allowance. Larger arrangements require a separately agreed plan. Prices at checkout govern; applicable taxes are disclosed there. Individual shared-page access remains free and does not include a multi-client roster.
A client uses a portal place when an authorized staff member opens that client's page. The same person counts once across staff and sharing links. Each later opening extends that person's place for another 30 days. Removing a page, changing a sharing code, replacing a staff member or reopening an account does not reset that count. If the allowance is full, a new client page may require a larger plan or waiting until an unused place expires. Ending or deleting patient access does not entitle the practice to disregard a recently used place.
One legal practice must not be split into duplicate accounts to obtain extra free places or avoid the appropriate plan. Shared domains, re-created memberships, rotated email aliases, purchased accounts or other deliberate limit bypasses are prohibited. We may combine evidence of duplicate practice control, request clarification or restrict a duplicate account. We do not grant patient access solely because two businesses appear related.
4. Staff and patient permissions
Each staff member uses a separate login. The owner is responsible for authorized invitations, removing departing staff and arranging legitimate ownership transfer. A staff invitation is not a patient consent. Patients must share with the intended recipient's verified address. Do not share passwords, sign-in links, patient links or codes with colleagues as a substitute for separate permission.
Staff may use only information they are authorized to receive for the purpose explained to the patient. Observe organizational access, confidentiality, recordkeeping and professional obligations. Sign out on shared devices. Maintain appropriate device security. Tell us promptly if someone gains unauthorized access or if you discover a misdirected share. Do not upload patient details into practice names, review notes, billing descriptions or ordinary support email.
5. Clinical use and regulated organizations
You remain responsible for clinical judgment, professional qualifications, informed consent, documentation, communications and emergency procedures applicable to your work. Lessen does not tell a patient that your practice will monitor a page continuously. Establish any monitoring expectations directly and truthfully. Delayed or absent information must not be interpreted as proof that no betting or risk occurred. Check timestamps, sources and coverage; obtain information through appropriate professional channels when a decision requires more certainty.
Whether HIPAA, state health privacy law, professional confidentiality, a business associate relationship or another regulated-data obligation applies depends on the actual service and relationship. Before using Lessen to create, receive, maintain or transmit protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, contact us to assess the arrangement. If a business associate agreement or other processing agreement is required, it must be signed and the required service configuration completed before that use. These public terms are not a business associate agreement, and a website approval or payment does not provide one. Do not upload records governed by 42 CFR Part 2, FERPA, or other specially restricted regimes without a reviewed written arrangement addressing those requirements. Lessen's statements do not relieve either party of duties imposed by law.
Do not use the portal to make employment, insurance, lending, housing, disciplinary or other adverse decisions about a person, to advertise to a patient, to resell patient data, or to train an unrelated model. Patient-directed access is not an unrestricted license to export or repurpose sensitive information.
6. Billing and cancellation
Only an authorized practice owner may choose or change paid plans. Approval leaves the practice on its current plan until a purchase is confirmed. Stripe handles payment. A plan renews monthly until canceled through Account and its billing controls. We disclose the amount and any proration before a plan change. Cancellation normally stops future renewal and leaves paid access through the paid period, unless the displayed cancellation choice, a refund, immediate account deletion, or law requires otherwise. Refunds, disputed or reversed charges, failed payment and expiration may change paid entitlements; the interface should show the resulting status.
An owner who is leaving should transfer ownership and billing responsibility first. Deleting the last owner's account initiates cancellation of the practice subscription, including retries if the payment service is unavailable. It is not a substitute for timely cancellation before a scheduled renewal. Contact us if you cannot access billing. See Billing and Cancellation. We do not bill a user merely for receiving an approval email.
7. Records, privacy and ending access
Use and disclosure remain governed by patient instructions, the privacy notices and law. Revocation or account deletion can end portal access to current and historical pages. Screenshots, printouts or notes you make become records for which you and your organization are responsible. Apply applicable retention and deletion duties; never promise a patient that Lessen can erase your independently maintained record. Do not keep unnecessary copies or attempt to regain revoked access.
Business identity, payment, anti-abuse and audit records can remain for legitimate purposes described in Retention, even when a staff login is removed. Ending your subscription does not buy, transfer or expand any patient permission. A separately signed processing agreement may set additional return/deletion obligations.
8. Responsibility and disputes
The general Terms' remedies, limitations and dispute provisions apply. Each party is responsible for its own unlawful acts and material contractual breaches. Nothing makes Lessen responsible for your independent professional advice, and nothing excuses Lessen from its own nonwaivable privacy or security duties. These terms do not impose a consumer indemnity. A tailored enterprise agreement may allocate additional organizational obligations only when separately agreed.
Questions, corrections, billing help or access appeals: admin@lessen.app. Never include patient records in an ordinary support request.
